WHO:
Wielding a giant guitar with a big
sound, Thom Catts effortlessly blends bass and rhythm, while weaving
melody lines to make a musical tapestry. Mesmerizing audiences with
a unique musical experience, he blends traditional and
modern jazz styles to create an intimate atmosphere and a
unforgettable show.
The touch guitar has the
octave range of a piano. It's played by tapping ("touching") the
string instead of plucking, which facilitates the performer in
playing bass and guitar simultaneously. Exploration of this
instrument led him to study with many exceptional
musicians, who helped him find his sound and
style.
This is a
