View from bass chair, Sequim
Orchestra. Phil Morgan-Ellis conducting
Big news for me, I'm now a member of the
fledgling Sequim Orchestra. I am playing bass on my touch
guitar, yeah...on my touch guitar!. This is something I've
always wanted to do, but due to my obvious instrument
choice was never able. I will post pictures and video as
this experience unfolds.
I've started a blog about touch guitar
and music theory. There you'll find exercises for touch guitar and
the occasional rant as well. Find them all at www.thomcatts.blogspot.com

FREE! Starting February
18th, I will be playing a live rehearsal @ The Blackbird Coffeehouse in Port Angeles
WA on Saturday's. This will be different than a performance, as I
will be working out some new songs and musical themes rather
than presenting them. By not regarding this as a performance I feel
a lesser need for a performance atmosphere, but rather a higher
focus on creativity and exploration (without a net). There will be
some great notes, a few odd ones, and a couple clunkers. And,
because there will be caffeine involved, I promise to not leave any
notes unresolved for too long. Stop on by for great coffee and
enjoy some live music.
